Savory Spiced Beef Tacos

Instructions:

  1. Heat the extra-virgin olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Once the beef is cooked, add the chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to coat the beef in the spices, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Remove the skillet from the heat and set aside.
  3. Warm the whole grain tortillas in a dry skillet or in the microwave until they are soft and pliable.
  4. To assemble the tacos, divide the seasoned ground beef evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each one.
  5. Top the ground beef with shredded organic lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded organic cheddar cheese. Feel free to add any additional toppings you like, such as salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
