Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

This peanut butter banana smoothie is a delicious breakfast or snack! Peanut butter, frozen bananas, and whole rolled oats make it thick and creamy, and they pack it with sweet and nutty flavor.

Serves 1 to 2


  • 1 frozen banana
  • ⅓ cup whole rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons natural peanut butter
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Handfuls of ice
  • Chocolate chips, optional, for topping

Optional add-ins

  • Maca powder
  • Splash of cold brew coffee
  • Cocoa or cacao powder


  1. In a blender, place the banana, oats, peanut butter, and almond milk. Blend until smooth, then add ice and any optional add-ins, as desired, and blend again until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into 1 or 2 glasses and serve topped with chocolate chips, if using.
  3. Makes 1 large smoothie or 2 smaller smoothies.
